The Emblem

A large letter "L" standing for Law - Liberty - Labour - Loyalty - Love - Life - Lions; on a circle representing the Lions Clubs all bound together in to one; Lions' profiles looking two ways, representing a Lion looking in every direction for an opportunity to give unselfish service, with the word "Lions" at the top representing the Association, and the word "International" at the bottom indicating it is an international association. It is the unwritten obligation of every Lion to wear and display his emblem with pride.

The Colors: Purple & Gold

To Lions purple stands for loyalty to country, loyalty to friends, loyalty to one's self and to the integrity of mind and heart . It is the traditional color of strength, courage and tireless dedication to a cause. God symbolizes sincerity of purpose, liberality in judgment, purity in life an generosity in mind, heart and purse towards his fellow man.
